Shalom, everyone! After 39 years in music ministry, and 17 years in the Messianic Jewish community, I am finally receiving my Hebrew name and my clergy license all in one day! After prayerful consideration, I believe God has chosen the name, Tirzah, for me, after one of the five daughters of Zelophehad in Numbers 27. Tirzah and her sisters inquired of Moses to grant them their father's inheritance after he died, which was unheard of at the time because they were women. Moses asked the Lord who promptly instructed him to grant their request! They were bold and full of faith and that's the kind of woman I want to be! Tirzah means "she is my delight" and I believe the Lord brought me out of the ashes for new life and His glory! Please come and celebrate with me on this special day of celebration for the goodness of the Lord in my life! I will be leading worship and hosting the oneg along with some of the finest cooks in our congregation, so come hungry in every way!
