Our dear brother, Nick Thalasinos, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 2nd, a victim of the senseless violence of the San Bernardino terrorist attack. Nick has been an active member with Shiloh at the Calimesa campus for about 2 years with his lovely wife, Jennifer. Nick was famous for his colorful suspenders, rimmed hat, Tzitzit and Tallit. He served faithfully as a Shamashim, often staying late to ensure the sanctuary and other rooms were organized and clean for the Sunday congregation. He oversaw the kitchen with our sister Carrie Ray and often would not allow the women to carry heavy items when cleaning up after an event. Nick also loved to greet newcomers with a handshake, a hug, and a smile. He was an active evangelist and prayer warrior. Nick shared numerous miraculous healings with our congregation to build our faith. He loved to pray and hug people and often said how much he loved Shiloh Messianic Congregation. He was a genuine, compassionate man whom we will dearly miss, until we are together again. A future celebration of life is being planned to honor Nick. Lev Shelo will be leading worship during this service.
