A fundraiser to raise money for expensive attorney fees to get Alyssa home safe with her grandparents. The below description of this event was written by Alyssa's grandpa, retired Messianic congregational leader, Pat Adamson:
"Tevye in the musical, Fiddler On The Roof, called the youngest daughter in his family 'little bird'. We are trying to raise funds for another 'little bird'. Our granddaughter, Alyssa, is 10 years old and her upbringing in Messianic Judaism has been heartlessly removed. Alyssa longs to be reunited with the safe, secure, loving grandparents and faith community who raised her. There was a shared arrangement with her mother for a time but we have recently been cut off and Alyssa is presently being held against her will in an increasingly detrimental environment. Through this grass-roots fundraising effort, we hope to regain legal guardianship. We pray Jeremiah 29:11 for Alyssa and we have complete confidence that restoration will be accomplished on her behalf.
