The call to walk as One New Man has reached the ears of the First Nations Peoples of America. The Navajo First Nation and President Ben Shelly has invited Majestic Glory Ministries to present a program that informs Native Americans about the Jewish roots of the Hebrew Scriptures and the similarity of the plight of both peoples.
The theme of these messages points to the common theme between Native Americans and Jews, “Why would God choose a nation to worship Him, then allow them to be persecuted?” This message speaks to the heart of both groups.
The Navajo One New Man Event will be presented at the Courtyard Marriott in Farmington, New Mexico, in the four corners region on Monday afternoon and evening, December 12, 2011.
As a direct result of this event, a Declaration in Support of Israel will be endorsed. This will launch a dedicated effort to bring all the First Nations of America together to stand with the Nation of Israel. In is anticipated that the Navajo Nation will be the first of multitudes of Native American First Nations to sign and support this proclamation.
A group of Messianic leaders, teachers, and theologians will bring a message of hope to our Native Americans. The Word will be delivered by Dr. Ray Gannon, Director of Messianic Studies for King’s University, Dr. Raleigh Washington, CEO of Promise Keepers, Rabbi Russ Resnik, Executive Director of the UMJC and Robert F. Wolff, Executive Editor of the book, Awakening the One New Man.
Messianic Worship band, Lev Shelo led by Corry Bell, and Messianic Dance Group under the guidance of Juli Burkhart of Live with Presence will lead worship.
