This event is very dear to my heart.  Our friends, Wes and Lynn Gorospe, approached us about doing a benefit concert to their silent auction, with the proceeds to go towards the extremely expensive medical procedure their 14 year old daughter, Nikki, has to undergo in the fall.  Nikki was a healthy 12 year old when she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that attacks her organs. Her kidneys have failed, and once the disease has been in remission for an acceptable period of time, according to her doctors, she will be eligible for a kidney transplant.  Her progress is good, so the date is set to get a new kidney in the fall, with her sister as the donor!!!

The family anticipates a shortfall of about $75k-100k that insurance does not cover. Then, the anti-rejection medications will cost about $18,000+ per year; which they anticipate costing upwards of $500k-1m over her life time.  I cannot even begin to imagine the stress this costs the family, which is why the band and I would like to help.  Won't you come out for this worthy cause?

Tim Fish and his jazz band will go on first to bring us into a celebratory mood.  (I'm looking forward to hearing those guys!)  We'll take a short intermission and then bring Lev Shelo to the stage to continue the celebration "Messianic style"!  During the two concerts, the silent auction will be held with the results announced after the concert.
